Install the public Data Parrot plugin from GitHub to use the Data Parrot MCP Server in Cursor.

Last updated September 3, 2026

**The Data Parrot plugin is now available for Cursor.** Install it from the public GitHub repository, sign in to Data Parrot through your browser, and ask Cursor about forecasts, pipeline changes, deals, sales activity, customer health, and win/loss.

## What the plugin adds

The plugin connects Cursor to the hosted Data Parrot MCP Server. There is no local MCP server or separate package to run. Data Parrot provides its sales analysis and supporting HubSpot information, and Cursor uses that information to answer your questions.

Revenue data access is read-only. The plugin cannot edit HubSpot or Data Parrot revenue records. You need a connected HubSpot account and Data Parrot Pro or Max.

## Install the plugin

Follow the [Cursor connection guide](https://dataparrot.ai/docs/mcp/connect/cursor) to install the plugin manually from the [public GitHub repository](https://github.com/data-parrot/cursor-grok-bot-mcp), reload Cursor, and complete browser authentication.
