Connect compatible AI assistants to Data Parrot through the new Data Parrot MCP Server.
Last updated
The Data Parrot MCP Server is now available for Pro and Max workspaces. Connect a compatible AI assistant to Data Parrot and ask questions about deals, pipeline movement, forecasts, qualifying HubSpot sales goals when available, sales activity, customer health, and win/loss evidence.
What changed
- Data Parrot now provides a remote Model Context Protocol server with OAuth sign-in.
- We have successfully connected the server to Codex, Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Grok CLI, and Grok.com. Claude Code is also supported through its standard remote MCP setup.
- ChatGPT on the web works through Developer mode. Until an approved Data Parrot plugin is available, this setup is intended for advanced users.
- The assistant can use focused tools for open deals, deal timelines, activities, pipeline history, forecast evidence, qualifying HubSpot sales goals when available, customer health, win/loss, and data definitions.
- If a user belongs to more than one Data Parrot workspace, the assistant asks them to choose a workspace and keeps that selection tied to the client connection. Users can explicitly switch it later.
- Users who still need setup or workspace access receive the appropriate connect, create, request-access, or upgrade path.
- Starter workspaces receive an upgrade path instead of revenue data.
How to use it
Add the Data Parrot MCP Server URL to your AI client, complete the authorization flow, review the requested Data Parrot access, then enable Data Parrot for your conversation. Your AI client or workspace may require an owner or admin to add a custom connector.
