Which AI tools work with the Data Parrot MCP Server?
You can connect the Data Parrot MCP Server to Google Antigravity, Cline, Cursor, Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, the Codex app, Codex CLI, Grok.com, and Grok CLI. Other AI tools can also work if they let you add a remote MCP server by URL and sign in through your browser. ChatGPT currently requires Developer mode, and you can connect more than one AI tool.
How much does the Data Parrot MCP Server cost?
There is currently no additional Data Parrot charge for MCP on Pro and Max. You use your own LLM account, so any token or usage costs come from that provider.
Which Data Parrot plans can use MCP?
Access to the Data Parrot MCP Server is included with Pro and Max workspaces. Starter workspaces do not include MCP access.
What do I need before connecting?
You need a HubSpot account, a Data Parrot Pro or Max workspace, and permission to add Data Parrot in your LLM client. If your company already has a Data Parrot workspace, you can request access instead of creating another one.
What HubSpot information does the Data Parrot MCP Server support?
Today, the Data Parrot MCP Server focuses on sales and deal questions, including forecasting, pipeline movement, deal analysis, sales activity, Customer Health, and win/loss. Customer Health Max, Service, and Marketing support are coming next.
What data can I see through the Data Parrot MCP Server?
Anyone with access to this MCP connection can access all Data Parrot data in the selected workspace, including all synced HubSpot data. Data Parrot cannot synchronize or enforce HubSpot per-user permissions in MCP.
Can I use the Data Parrot MCP Server with more than one workspace?
Yes. When you connect, choose the Data Parrot workspace you want your LLM client to use. That choice stays with the connection, and you can switch to another workspace whenever you need to.
Can my AI tool retrieve Forecast Notes and their history?
Yes. Available Forecast Notes include every author's current note, name, saved time, and history count. Request history for earlier versions and clear events, for all authors or one. Turning Forecast Notes off hides notes and history from MCP.
Do forecast summaries include closed-won revenue and goals?
Yes. Summaries include open pipeline and closed-won revenue by week, month, or quarter. Supported quotas add applicable targets, attainment, and gap. Without supported quotas, goal information stays hidden. Request supporting Deals separately.
Can the Data Parrot MCP Server update HubSpot for me?
No. The Data Parrot MCP Server can answer questions and explain the information behind the answer, but it cannot edit deals, change properties, or update records in HubSpot or Data Parrot.
How is the Data Parrot MCP Server different from the HubSpot MCP server?
The HubSpot MCP server lets your AI tool find and update records in HubSpot. The Data Parrot MCP Server is read-only and answers sales questions, such as what will close, which deals are slipping, how pipeline is changing, and why deals are won or lost, using Data Parrot's analysis and the HubSpot details behind it. The two work together. With Push to HubSpot turned on, HubSpot's MCP server can also read Data Parrot's deal properties, like Deal Health and purchase intent.
