Which LLM clients work with Data Parrot MCP?
You can connect Data Parrot MCP to Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, the Codex app, Codex CLI, Grok.com, and Grok CLI. ChatGPT currently requires Developer mode, and you can connect more than one client.
How much does Data Parrot MCP cost?
There is currently no additional Data Parrot charge for MCP on Pro and Max. You use your own LLM account, so any token or usage costs come from that provider.
Which Data Parrot plans can use MCP?
Data Parrot MCP is included with Pro and Max workspaces. Starter workspaces do not include MCP access.
What do I need before connecting?
You need a HubSpot account, a Data Parrot Pro or Max workspace, and permission to add Data Parrot in your LLM client. If your company already has a Data Parrot workspace, you can request access instead of creating another one.
What HubSpot information does Data Parrot MCP support?
Today, Data Parrot MCP focuses on sales and deal questions, including forecasting, pipeline movement, deal analysis, sales activity, Customer Health, and win/loss. Customer Health Max, Service, and Marketing support are coming next.
What data can I see through Data Parrot MCP?
Anyone with access to this MCP connection can access all Data Parrot data in the selected workspace, including all synced HubSpot data. Data Parrot cannot synchronize or enforce HubSpot per-user permissions in MCP.
Can I use Data Parrot MCP with more than one workspace?
Yes. When you connect, choose the Data Parrot workspace you want your LLM client to use. That choice stays with the connection, and you can switch to another workspace whenever you need to.
Can Data Parrot MCP update HubSpot for me?
No. Data Parrot MCP can answer questions and explain the information behind the answer, but it cannot edit deals, change properties, or update records in HubSpot or Data Parrot.
How is Data Parrot MCP different from HubSpot MCP?
HubSpot MCP gives your LLM client direct access to supported HubSpot CRM records and activities, including the ability to update some records. Data Parrot MCP is read-only and built around sales questions such as what will close, which deals are slipping, how pipeline is changing, and why deals are won or lost. It uses Data Parrot analysis alongside the supporting HubSpot information.
