Connect Data Parrot MCP to Another AI Tool

Connect Data Parrot MCP to another AI tool using the Data Parrot server URL and browser sign-in.

Use this guide when your AI tool is not covered by our setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, or Grok.

Your AI tool must let you add a remote MCP server using a URL and sign in through your browser. If you cannot find both options, it may not support Data Parrot yet.

Before you start, you need a Data Parrot Pro or Max workspace.

Connect Data Parrot MCP to another AI tool

  1. Open your AI tool's connection settings

    Look for Connections, Connectors, Integrations, or MCP servers. Then choose the option to add a custom MCP connection or remote MCP server.

  2. Add Data Parrot

    Enter Data Parrot as the name and paste the server URL.

    If your AI tool asks for a connection type, choose Streamable HTTP or Remote HTTP.

  3. Sign in to Data Parrot

    Choose browser sign-in or OAuth if your AI tool asks. You should not need to enter an API key, client ID, client secret, or custom headers.

    Sign in to Data Parrot and approve the connection. If you belong to more than one Data Parrot workspace, choose the workspace you want to use.

  4. Confirm the connection

    Return to your AI tool and confirm that Data Parrot shows as connected. Some AI tools also require you to turn on Data Parrot for each conversation.

Disconnect Data Parrot

Open the same connection settings, find Data Parrot, and select Disconnect or Remove.
