Call each deal, leave your own forecast note, and update the fields that move during a forecast review.
Last updated
Run the forecast review from Deals. Call each deal using the categories your team actually uses, leave your note next to it, and make the updates while you are still on the deal.
Call the deal your way
Choose how Forecast Status works for your team:
- Use Data Parrot to create your own forecast categories, put them in the order you use on the call, and add instructions for the team.
- Use a HubSpot property to bring an existing HubSpot deal property into the Deals table. Changes stay current in HubSpot and Data Parrot.
Click Forecast Status on a deal to change the call without leaving the table. Your categories keep the order set in Forecast Settings. If you switch between Data Parrot and HubSpot later, both setups are kept.
Leave your own read on the deal
Each person can leave their own Forecast Note on a deal. Everyone can read the team's notes, but only change their own. When a note changes, the earlier versions stay in history.
Use Next to move through the deals on your call without closing the note panel each time.
Your team's notes stay with the deal in Data Parrot, so the next review starts with the reasoning behind the last call.
Make the update while you are on the deal
Forecast Status, Close Date, Pipeline, and Stage can now be changed directly in Deals. Close Date, Pipeline, and Stage changes are saved to the matching HubSpot deal.
Forecast Status stays in Data Parrot when you use Data Parrot's categories. If you use a HubSpot property, the change is saved to that property instead. Pipeline and Stage changes are limited to active, open stages.
Where to find it
Open Deals to review and update deals. Workspace owners and admins can choose whether Forecast Status uses Data Parrot or HubSpot, edit the categories, or turn Forecast Notes on or off in Forecast Settings.
Forecast Status and Forecast Notes are available with Data Parrot Pro and Max.
